The committee headed by 10-term MLA Ganpatrao Deshmukh has recorded statements of 17 witnesses. The report is expected to be tabled in the state assembly on Wednesday.
“Legislators do not have any code of conduct to follow like the public servants have. The committee is of the opinion that the legislators should observe self-discipline while enjoying the protection of the privileges they get,” said a source closely related to the panel.
