Rohit Sharma says FIFA is his video game of choice on weekends
Cricketer Rohit Sharma speaks to HT 48 Hours about his idea of ‘ideal weekend’.

Dine out, order in, or cook a meal on weekends?
Order in (and watch a movie).
Can: cook a five-course meal/a sandwich/boil water/don’t know how the gas works.
In between a sandwich and a three-course meal.
Strictly salads and grilled chicken, or cheese/chocolate cheat for the weekend?
While on tour, I have cheat days but when I’m back, it is strictly salads and healthy food.
Where do you love getting breakfast and your go-to order?
Smoke House Deli. Spanish omelette, a bowl of fruit and carrot juice. Waffles are my breakfast cheat meal.
Complicated Iced Frappe person or straight up espresso person?
Americano black.
Cosmopolitan or whisky on the rocks?
Whisky on the rocks.

Street food that makes your day.
Mumbai chaat and vada pav.
Party till dawn or wake up for yoga at dawn?
Party till dawn and wake up and work it off.
A movie/book you’ve been meaning to catch up on.
The original Batman movies. I’ve seen the Christian Bale ones but I need to catch up on the older ones.

Twitter or Instagram?
Instagram. A picture is worth a thousand words.
Favourite hashtag.
#MyLifeMyRules
What one thing can totally make or break your weekend?
A weekend trip to my outhouse totally makes my weekend. An argument with the Mrs-to-be breaks it. Sundays for me are to hang out with friends, play FIFA and catch up on what’s been going on while I was away.
A TV show you could watch reruns of all Sunday.
Entourage. I have watched all eight seasons over and over again.
