Holi is one festival loved by all when we get together with family and friends for meals, discussions and playing with colours. By the end of the day, we’re covered in all sorts of hues from all the water balloons and dry colours.
While gulaal, water guns and a lot of singing and dancing are the hallmarks of Holi celebrations, food is also an important part of the festival. Gujiyas, kachoris, gol gapas, papads and a lot of other snacks are enjoyed during the festival.

Matcha Tiramisu from Kampai
Ingredients
Matcha cream preparation
Eggs yolk -4
Egg white-4
Whipped cream-200 gm
Caster sugar -40 gm
Mascaporne cheese-400 gm
Matcha powder -10 gm
Milk-400 ml
Gelatine-6 gm
Base preparation
Italian lady biscuit-1 pkt
Hot water -200 ml
Matcha powder -3 tea spoons
Caster sugar-3 tbsp
Method (Matcha cream)
Mix the yolk and sugar.
In a separate bowl whip cream and cheese together until its frothy.
Mix the egg white, gelatine and milk together until the gelatin dissolves.
After that mix all things together and then slowly add matcha powder to the whole mix.
Matcha biscuit base
Mix matcha powder and caster sugar with hot water and dip Italian biscuit in it for a few seconds and arrange them in layers covered with matcha cream. Later on cut them later in square shapes.
Garnish with edible flower and dust with matcha powder.
Cranberry Lemon Yogurt Popsicles by Del Monte
These healthy cranberry lemon yogurt popsicles are creamy, sweet and lemony. They have the goodness of yogurt and cranberries are a colourful treat no-one can refuse! It’s a perfect blend of flavors for kids and adults, this Holi festival.
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Makes 8 popsicles
Ingredients:
For the cranberry layer:
Cranberry: 130 gms
Sugar: 1/4 cup
Water: 1 cup
For the yogurt layer:
Yogurt: 1 1/2 cups
Honey: 1/4 cup
Zest of 1 lemon
Method:
1. In a pan, add Del Monte cranberries, sugar and water. Bring it to a boil, and then simmer for 10-15 minutes till the mixture thickens up and cranberries become soft. Set aside to cool.
2. In the meanwhile, whisk together yogurt, honey and lemon till smooth and creamy.
3. To assemble the popsicles, add 2-3 tablespoons yogurt mixture to the popsicle mould, top with 2 tablespoons cranberry mixture and then fill it up with yogurt mixture. Repeat for the remaining moulds.
4. Freeze for 8 hours. Serve frozen.
