Gobble is one of several social media pages that showcase quick food videos. The trend started in 2014 and was pioneered by the Facebook-only cooking channel, Tasty. In India, quick food videos started making an appearance in 2015 with channels like Cooktube, Awesome Sauce, Subbu’s Kitchen and Ayesha’s Kitchen being some of the early creators on the scene.

Perfect for short attention spans, they can be consumed on the go. They are the new version of instant gratification/food porn that is associated with cooking shows, or viewing photos of food on Instagram. Here are 5 interesting channels to follow:

1) Gobble

Launched in 2016, Gobble was launched by digital entertainment firm Pocket Aces. Apart from innovative preparations like Maggi Four Ways and Pinwheel sandwiches, they also feature videos of “eat-off competitions” where people stuff themselves with fried chicken, gulab jamun and momos.
