Sengar was in Unnao jail for the last 10 days.
The victim and her family had alleged that the MLA’s presence in Unnao was a threat to them as he was holding a ‘durbar’ in Unnao jail.
A team of CBI officials took the MLA to Sitapur early Tuesday morning amid tight security.
Besides rape, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is investigating the murder of her girl’s father and two other cases.
When the agency submitted its status report in the high court on May 2, the victim girl complained to the court that the MLA’s presence in Unnao jail could influence key witnesses.
She contended Sengar was a powerful figure in Unnao. The girl’s mother filed an objection to lodging of Sengar in Unnao jail and sought his transfer.
The court had given CBI a week to decide where it would want the MLA to shift. The court deadline was to expire on May 9.
