YSRCP first list for LS polls out

Andhra Pradesh’s main Opposition party Yuvajana Sramika Rytu Congress (YSRC) on Sunday released its full list of candidates for the 175 assembly and 25 parliamentary seats in the state.The state will go to polls for both assembly and parliamentary seats in a single phase on April 11.

The party will field V Chandramouli, a retired backward class bureaucrat against chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu in Kuppam, Chittoor district, said YS Jaganmohan Reddy, party president, releasing the list of candidates at Idupulapaya, his home town, on Sunday. Chandramouli had lost to Naidu in the 2014 elections from the same seat by a margin of 47,121 votes.

Reddy himself will contest from the family borough of Pulivendula in Kadapa district.
