Maharaashtra’s 48 constituencies will vote to elect members to the Lok Sabha in four phases on April 11,18, 23 and 29.

Parbhani Lok Sabha constituency is one of the 48 constituencies in Maharashtra and covers the entire Parbhani district and a part of Jalna district.

But for one term for the Congress in 1998, the seat has been held by the Shiv Sena for all terms since 1989. Before that the seat was considered a Congress stronghold.

In 2014, Jadhav Sanjay (Bandu) Haribhau of the Shiv Sena defeated NCP’s Bhambale Vijay Manikrao by over one lakh vote.
