For the past two days, Tej Pratap had been holding road shows in all six assembly segments falling under Sheohar Lok Sabha constituency in Singh’s support and calling the official RJD nominee as a BJP agent.

RJD chief Lalu Prasad‘s eldest son and former health minister of Bihar, Tej Pratap Yadav, on Saturday fielded Angesh Kumar Singh as Lalu Rabri Morcha nominee for the Sheohar Lok Sabha seat, virtually raising a banner of revolt against the party.

Angesh Singh filed his nomination for the Sheohar Lok Sabha seat at Motihari on Saturday.

For the past two days, Tej Pratap had been holding road shows in all six assembly segments falling under Sheohar Lok Sabha constituency in Singh’s support and calling the official RJD nominee as a BJP agent

Speaking to the media persons in Motihari, Angesh Singh dubbed RJD official nominee Syed Faisal Ali as an outsider and claimed himself as the face of nahagathbandhan.

“There is no logic in making  a person RJD nominee who does not know the dynamics of the constituency,” he said.

Now, Singh will be taking on BJP’s Rama Davi, who is also the sitting MP from Sheohar, and RJD’s Syed Faisal Ali.

Meanwhile,  demand for action against Tej Pratap intensified today with party’s senior leader Shivanand Tiwary hinting that the party might take action him.

Even former MP M A Fatmi, who quit the RJD recently after being denied a ticket, had questioned the party’s silence on Tej Pratap’s bid to embarrass the party and wondered why no action had been initiated against him.
