Sending out a clear message to the Left camp, the Trinamool top bosses said that the party could wipe out the CPI(M) in five minutes, should party chief asks them to.

Mukul Roy, all India general secretary, Partha Chatterjee, secretary general and industries minister, Madan Mitra, transport minister, Firhad Hakim, urban development minister CM Jatua, MP and MLAs Sobhandeb Chattopadhyay and Sujit Bose were among the leaders to address the public meeting at Bamunghata before walking five kilometers to Bhoj in Bhangar.

“Mamata Banerjee is all for peace in Bengal and we are quietly following her ideals. However if people revolt and take to the streets what can we do? A section of the media is conspiring with CPI(M) for cheap TRPs. But I tell you, if Mamata Banerjee gives the permission CPI(M) will be wiped out with in five minutes. They will finished in no more than five minutes in Bengal,” Madan Mitra said amidst applause from around five thousands people who jostled for space Bamunghata market.

It was a successful show of strength, apart from a clear message to the party men and the people of Bhangar, which witnessed a series of violence including an assault by Arabul Islam and his men on Rezzak Mollah.

Partha Chatterjee lauded Arabul and stated that both CPI(M) and Congress is conspiring to create communal tension, apart from spreading terror in Bengal.

“Arabul is lying on the nursing home bed, injured. We have asked the administation to take strong steps and probe how CPI(M) goons got hold so many arms and ammunition. Rezzak Mollah and his goon Sattar Mollah is trying to bring back their reign of terror.

Rezzak who is sidelined in his own party, is staging a drama to get back into the limelight,” Chatterjee said. He reminded party workers how he and Mukul Roy during the Left Front regime tried to hold a public meeting in Bhangar and narrowly escaped bullets and bombs lobbed by CPI(M) cadres. Roy highlighted Mamata Banerjee’s development initiative including those for the minorities, including honorarium for Imams and student’s stipends.

“We must maintain peace and not be provoked. CPI(M) will try and instigate us, but we must remain calm. We must keep a strict vigil,” said Roy.
