One scene, however, struck a chord with most of the fans and even made them emotional. It’s the reunion between Jon Snow and his beloved direwolf Ghost.

In the season’s previous episode, social media users showed outrage when Jon Snow unceremoniously said goodbye to Ghost. It showed Jon saying goodbye to Tormund and Sam but walking past a whimpering Ghost even without petting him. So, fans were thrilled when the two met again, and Jon petted his beloved direwolf. After all, it’s exactly the lovable moment that fans wanted to see.
