Anand Mahindra’s tweet about “perils of having a smart wife” amuses Twitter
The story shared by Anand Mahindra about the man faking being dumb and deaf is fictional. However, it’s his tweet caption that caught the attention of netizens.
Business tycoon Anand Mahindra is an avid Twitter user. From motivational tweets to witty updates, he keeps on sharing tweets which hardly fail to amuse his vast fan base. Recently, he took to Twitter to share the picture of a newspaper article about a man who faked being deaf and dumb to avoid listening to his wife. What’s caught the attention of netizens, however, is Mahindra’s tweet text posted along with the image.

The Mahindra Group chairman wrote that after reading the article, he laughed non-stop for five minutes. Then he asked his wife if she too could be fooled in that manner. To that, his wife came up with a savage reply. Check it out.

How do we know? Well, a disclaimer given at the end of the website proves the fictitious nature of the story. The disclaimer reads:
