Ludhiana: Test reports show adulterated paneer being sold in markets

Out of the 29 samples tested, eight were found to be substandard or unsafe, three samples were deemed unsafe and misleading, while five were identified as substandard; seven samples passed the quality tests, and results for the remaining 14 samples are still awaited

Banned vapes and e-cigarettes seized in Samrala

The SHO said the seized vapes, which were being sold for up to ₹2,000 each, are suspected to contain nicotine and other harmful substances; local residents have alleged that the vapes were being directly supplied to students at government schools.

Ludhiana: Stolen mobile phones worth over 12 lakh returned to owners after 2 years

Senior superintendent of police (SSP) Ankur Gupta said the operation was made possible through the Central Equipment Identity Register (CEIR) portal, a national database that allows tracking of lost or stolen mobile phones using their unique IMEI numbers
