MP: Children of ‘IS letter writer’ rusticated from school
The two children of Usmaan, who was booked for allegedly sending an Islamic State (IS) letter to their school principal in MP’s Dewas, were rusticated on Friday.
The two children of a man, who was booked for allegedly sending an Islamic State (IS) letter to their school principal in MP’s Dewas, were rusticated on Friday.

The principal of BCM School – where the son and daughter of accused Usmaaan study in class 9 and Class 10 respectively— received a letter, allegedly written by IS on Wednesday, demanding waiving of the fees of Usmaan’s children.
On receiving the letter, school principal Verges Joseph made a complaint to the police who booked Usmaan and registered a case against him, but they did not find any evidence against him or his children.
The police officer investigating the case told Hindustan Times on Saturday, “We have taken the samples of handwriting of Usmaan’s children but they did not match with the letter writer’s.”
Police are also taking the samples of the answer sheets of other students of the school to trace the letter writer.
Joseph said, “Usmaan has threatened me many times with dire consequences, and the police know it. Also, he has not paid the fees of his children for long time.”
However, Usmaan said, “The act of the school administration to rusticate my children is not fair. I’ve not written any letter. I’m very poor, so I’m paying the price for it. I will knock the doors of senior officers for justice.”
Sources said Usmaan had written a letter to the chief minister last year alleging that the principal of the school had tortured his children for his failure to pay the fees.
He also wrote a letter to the superintendent of police (Dewas) in April this year, alleging that the principal tortured his children before other students for fees.
However, when the police investigated the case they found the complaint false.
