The Punjab and Haryana High Court has already issued directions to the Haryana government on September 27, 2012 to consider the claim of these JBT teachers for further promotions in a petition filed by 75 teachers belonging to this allegedly controversial batch of recruitment, said their counsel Rajbir Sehrawat.
The state government had contested the petition filed by these teachers on the solitary ground that a criminal case is going on before the CBI court a Delhi at the direction of the Supreme Court.
However this contention of the state government had not been accepted by the high court while allowing the writ petition filed by these teachers.
