"We were busy with the Asian Games and had informed the FIH that we will be going through it and making our opinion known as soon as possible. We will get back to the FIH after consulting all stakeholders," IHF secretary general K Jothikumaran told Hindustan Times on the sidelines of the Premier Hockey League here.

Senior IHF officials met IHF president KPS Gill on Friday and decided to consult other state associations before sending a response to FIH.

The report has apparently raised concerns in areas already identified by the IHF. A federation source said: "Davidzon has identified things like more astro turfs, improved umpiring, better coaching facilities, among the 14 areas of concern."

IHF officials are also miffed at the manner in which the issue has been raised by the FIH, pointing out that it was a project commissioned by the International Olympic Committee and not the FIH.
