“We are thankful to apex court for taking cognizance of police action at the peaceful Satyagrah. Concerned parties have to give reply in two week time and hopefully we will get justice” said yoga guru Ramdev while addressing supporters in Haridwar on Monday.

Ramdev said he always respected Prime Minister Manmohan Singh but now onwards he has no respect for PM. Baba further added he will also plea before women commission and human rights commission to take action against police for alleged atrocities particularly on women and children.

He also noted fight against corruption was getting national support from all quarters. He asserted barring Congress, all political partiers were supporting his crusade.

“Reports coming from several parts of the nation suggest people are furious against union government, many markets have been shut. Political and social organisations are supporting me,” Ramdev claimed.

Ramdev also presented several supporters before media who had received injuries during police action in New Delhi. Meanwhile, former BJP firebrand leader Uma Bharati and other saints joined fast and extended support to Ramdev.

Harish (26) farmer who has come all the way from Gujarat with his four friends says he supports Ramdev fight against corruption and will return to home when the fast ends. “We are taking water and lime water to support the cause of Baba. I am not sure how long we will have to stay here but whatsoever we will remain here” Harish says who was also present at Ramlila ground in New Delhi.

A young entrepreneur from Yamunanagar (Haryana) says he is stunned what had happened with workers. “I am here to continue my support against corruption. Union government‘s role has been dubious,” notes Ajay Sharma (29).
