Yogi Adityanath oath highlights: Council of ministers to meet tomorrow at 10am

Following Yogi Adityanath's first council of ministers' meeting today, UP deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya said that it was held “just know each other as it is a large Council of Ministers,” according to ANI. “The Council of Ministers will meet again at 10am tomorrow,” he was quoted as saying.

According to pictures shared by news agency ANI, PM Narendra Modi was seen waving at the crowd at Lucknow's Ekana Stadium where Yogi Adityanath took oath as the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh for a record second term. Other newly sworn-in ministers, including KP Maurya - who was retained as the deputy CM of the northern state, was also present with him.

Yogi Adityanath’s cabinet may again have two deputy chief ministers, said sources. Outgoing deputy chief ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Dinesh Sharma, besides Baby Rani Maurya are seen among the top contenders for the posts.

Ahead of the swearing-in ceremony, BJP UP has posted a video of Yogi Adityanath's campaigns, wins on its Twitter account. “The godlike people of the state have once again ensured the victory of development and good governance by breaking the chains of appeasement,” they wrote.
