Watch: Rahul Gandhi pays tribute to Mahatma Gandhi after returning to Parliament
Rahul Gandhi pays homage to Mahatma Gandhi after stay of conviction in 'Modi surname' case.
Congress MP Rahul Gandhi paid homage to Mahatma Gandhi at the Parliament House, marking his return to house proceedings after the Supreme Court's stay on his two-year jail conviction in the 'Modi surname' case.

The former Congress president has been reinstated as an MP more than four months after his disqualification. Upon returning, he paid respects to Mahatma Gandhi's statue at Parliament House and briefly attended Lok Sabha proceedings before an adjournment.
Congress and opposition MPs warmly welcomed Gandhi back to Parliament. His disqualification was lifted based on a Supreme Court order that stayed his conviction. This restoration of membership was celebrated at the AICC headquarters.
Gandhi's return to the Lok Sabha comes in time for the upcoming debate on a no-confidence motion. He was previously disqualified due to a defamation case conviction, which was overturned by the Supreme Court.
Representing Wayanad, Gandhi's reinstatement has been hailed as a victory for truth and justice.
