Railway project connecting Mizoram with rest of India to be commissioned in July

The Bairabi-Sairang broad gauge railway line in Mizoram, spanning 51.38 km, will be commissioned in July. The project, part of the Centre's Act East policy, enhances connectivity with the rest of India. Completed by the Northeast Frontier Railway, it includes numerous bridges and tunnels. Officials are also exploring extensions to Lawngtlai district near Myanmar.
