Rahul Gandhi to visit Kashmir tomorrow to meet injured in Pahalgam terror attack
The Congress leader is scheduled to visit the Government Medical College (GMC) in Anantnag to check on the condition of those injured in Pahalgam attack.
Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, is scheduled to visit Kashmir on Friday following the Pahalgam terror attack, PTI reported, citing sources.

The Congress leader is scheduled to visit the Government Medical College (GMC) in Anantnag to check on the condition of those injured in the deadly attack.
Twenty-six people, mostly tourists, were killed and several others wounded when terrorists opened fire at a meadow near Pahalgam town in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
Gandhi cut short his visit to the United States to return for a crucial meeting of the Congress Working Committee held earlier on Thursday.
He also attended an all-party meeting convened by the central government to brief political leaders on the horrific attack.
Rahul Gandhi says Opposition backs Centre's action on Pahalgam attack
Rahul Gandhi said that all opposition parties had unanimously condemned the terrorist attack in Pahalgam and extended complete support to the government in taking any necessary measures.
Speaking after the all-party meeting, he said, “Everyone condemned the Pahalgam terrorist attack. The opposition has given full support to the government in taking any action.”
The all-party meeting was convened a day after the government announced a series of measures against Pakistan following Tuesday’s terror attack in Pahalgam.
The decision to hold the meeting was made on Wednesday, with defence minister Rajnath Singh and home minister Amit Shah personally reaching out to leaders across party lines.
Such meetings are customary after incidents with serious national security implications. Similar all-party briefings were held after the 2019 Pulwama terror attack and the 2020 India-China border standoff.
Such meetings are held to discuss national security issues, offering a platform for opposition leaders to express their views and receive updates on the government's position.
