    Subodh Patil, a resident of Navi Mumbai, who was injured in the terror attack in Pahalgam and later treated in Kashmir, has now returned home. He received a warm welcome from his neighbours and local residents.

    Patil, aged 60, arrived at his home in Royal Heights Apartments in the Kamothe area on Thursday night with his wife.

    The police said that Patil and his wife were part of a group of 39 tourists on a trip to Pahalgam organised by Nisarg Paryatan Tours.

    Patil was shot in the neck when terrorists opened fire at tourists in the Baisaran meadow on 22 April. He had been at a tea stall at the time. He was taken to the Army hospital in Pahalgam and was discharged after recovering.
