Kavitha to address at Oxford University on Telangana initiatives

Bharat Rashtra Samithi lawmaker and Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s daughter Kalvakuntla Kavitha will address the students and faculty of Oxford University, London, on October 30 to showcase the initiatives taken by the state government in various fields, particularly health care and education.
An official statement from Kavitha’s office said her lecture was part of a programme of the university on development economics.
The statement said that during a recent visit to London as part of the Bridge India initiative, Kavitha had interacted with students from various colleges on the significant strides made in Telangana’s development.
“Special emphasis was placed on the remarkable measures in the agricultural sector, such as the provision of Rythu Bandhu (investment support) to farmers and the 24-hour free electricity supply to the agriculture sector,”the statement said . “Further, the state government’s efforts to rejuvenate the rural economy through various schemes have not only aimed to strengthen economic conditions in rural areas but also presented a multifaceted approach to enhance the economic stability of villages.”
