“Her (Misa Bharti’s) role in the Lalu family is that of Surpanakha, “ Singhsaid, reacting to Bharti’s comments at a political event on Monday where she reportedly declared that her brother Tejashwi Yadav was the political heir to the imprisoned RJD chief.
“As Surpanakha was responsible for the friction between Ravana and his younger brother Vibhishana, Misa Bharti is playing the same role creating hostility between her two younger brothers, Tej Pratap and Tejashwi,” Singh said. Singh’s remarks drew sharp reactions from Bihar’s grand alliance. RJD spokesperson Vijay Prakash hit back by calling JD (U), the BJP’s partner in the Bihar government, “a family of devils”. “We have Sitas and Radhas in RJD. On the contrary, JD (U) nurtures devils and evil spirits. These evil spirits only look for opportunities to harm others.”
