India's Chandrayaan-3 moon mission is in its final stages of preparation, with the rocket assembly completed and the spacecraft fully integrated, according to officials from the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and the Department of Space. The launch is expected to take place in mid-July, although a specific date has not yet been announced. Chandrayaan-3 aims to build on the progress made by its predecessor, Chandrayaan-2, which successfully entered lunar orbit in 2019 but experienced a "hard landing" due to a software glitch.
