Idea of RSS similar to Muslim Brotherhood in Arab world, says Rahul Gandhi

The idea of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is similar to that of Muslim Brotherhood in the Arab world, Congress president Rahul Gandhi said on Friday.

“RSS is trying to change the nature of India. Other parties haven’t tried to capture India’s institutions,” Gandhi said at the International Institute of Strategic Studies in London.

Gandhi also said the idea of demonetisation came directly from RSS, bypassed the finance minister and Reserve Bank of India (RBI), and was planted in the head of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The Congress president will also speak at the British parliament and the London School of Economics and meet members of the Labour Party’s shadow cabinet and business leaders of the country.
