Amit Shah reviews functioning of security grid in J&K ahead of G20 meet next month

India's Union home minister, Amit Shah, has reviewed the functioning of the security grid in Jammu and Kashmir ahead of the G20 meetings in the area, asking security agencies to make adequate security arrangements. The meeting was attended by national security advisor Ajit Doval, Jammu and Kashmir lieutenant governor Manoj Sinha, union home secretary Ajay Kumar Bhalla, Jammu and Kashmir police chief Dilbag Singh, Intelligence Bureau chief Tapan Deka and Research and Analysis Wing chief Samant Goel. Shah also reviewed the preparation of the G20 meeting scheduled to be held in Srinagar in May 2023.
