Twitter gets excited as more and more grown-up actors get roped in for It sequel

It: Chapter 2 has finalised five actors so far as the grown-up members of the Losers’ Club.

Hollywood actor James Ransone of The Wire and Sinister fame has been roped in to play adult Eddie Kaspbrak in the highly anticipated horror thriller It: Chapter 2.

Fans from across the globe have taken to Twitter to give their approval to the casting coup.

A fan wrote, “Said a while ago that this would be perfect casting, so I’m overjoyed that it’s actually happening! (I really should have put a bet on though, @ms_mjolnir ??) #JamesRansone #ITMovie”.

Another fan shared a meme and wrote, “Me after learning who will play Eddie and Stan in IT Ch. 2..???? #ITch.2 #JamesRansone #andybean”.

One fan tweeted, “James Ransone was incredible in Sinister 2. I will always remember his performance. A perfectly eccentric weirdo, glad to see him officially casted as Eddie”.

“OH MY GOD THIS IS TOO PERFECT”, read one tweet.

A tweet from a verified account read, “James Ransone as Eddie in IT: CHAPTER TWO is such perfect casting that I’m surprised I didn’t think of it myself”.

One post read, “Dude, I am so in for the It sequel just to see Bill Hader and James Ransone riff off each other for two hours. The story is a bonus”.

The film will be a sequel to the 2017 hit horror drama It.

The flick will take the story further where the evil clown Pennywise returns 27 years later to torment the grown-up members of the Losers’ Club.

Apart from Ransone, the film will also star Jessica Chastain, Bill Skarsgard, and James McAvoy in pivotal roles.

The film will be directed by Andres Muschietti from the original flick.
