Robert Downey Jr treated all Avengers Endgame ladies to lunch on sets, fans miss Black Widow in pics

Actor Robert Downey Jr has shared Marvelous throwback pictures from the sets of Avengers: Endgame. The photos show Downey hosting all the female superheroes from the film to lunch while they were shooting together last year.

The pictures include Zoe Saldana (Gamora), Brie Larson (Captain Marvel), Pom Klementiff (Mantis), Gwyneth Paltrow (Pepper Potts), Letitia Wright (Shuri), Karen Gillian (Nebula), Elisabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch), Danai Gurira (Okoye) and Evangeline Lilly (Wasp).

Sadly, there is no Scarlett Johansson, who plays Black Widow, in the pictures. As fans may already know, Natasha sacrifices herself so Hawkeye could bring the Soul Stone to the rest of the Avengers. “Where’s natasha?,” asked a fan, clearly missing the one woman who led the way for more female superheroes in the MCU.

Karen thanked Downey for the lunch. “Yes!!!!!! PS thanks for lunch,” she wrote in a comment. “Thank you for hosting us that day,” Zoe wrote in her Instagram stories.
