Mission Impossible Fallout screened on top of 2000 ft cliff, Tom Cruise shares pic
A special screening of Mission: Impossible - Fallout was held on top of a 2000 foot cliff. Tom Cruise shared a picture of the event on his Twitter, which you can see here.
The Mission Impossible films demand death-defying stunts from Tom Cruise, but this time the audience was involved too. Paramount Pictures held a special screening of the sixth Mission Impossible film atop a cliff. Cruise shared a picture of the screening on his Twitter account, and said that he wished he could’ve attended.

“2,000 feet, 2,000 people, 4 hours of hiking. The most impossible screening of #MissionImpossible Fallout. Thank you all for coming! I wish I could have been there,” the actor wrote in the tweet.
Many have noticed the location’s similarity to the setting of the film’s final action sequence. While the scene is set in Kashmir in the film, director Christopher McQuarrie was not given the necessary governmental clearances to film in India, and hence the scene was filmed at Norway’s iconic Preikestolen, also known as Pulpit Rock. It’s another matter that the Central Board of Film Certification removed all mention of Kashmir from the India release of the film, citing a misrepresentation of the boundaries of Jammu and Kashmir.

In the film, Ethan Hunt and his team arrive in Kashmir to stop the villainous Solomon Lane before he can detonate three nuclear bombs that could impact India, Pakistan and China, effectively eviscerating a third of the world’s population.
Ethan thwarts the attack by fighting Henry Cavill’s double agent on the cliff.

Mission: Impossible - Fallout has earned the series’ best reviews, with a score of 97% on the review aggregator site Rotten Tomatoes. It is also pacing ahead of the franchise’s previous entry at the same stage in its theatrical run. The film has made over $300 million worldwide in two weeks of release, including a healthy ₹67 crore in India, enough for it to stay at the number one position at the local and foreign box office for two weeks.
