Lady Gaga took home the award for Best Actress in a Limited Series or TV Movie for her role in American Horror Story: Hotel. But what was probably the Golden Globe moment was Leonardo DiCaprio’s reaction when Gaga accidentally nudged him on the back while walking towards the stage to accept her award.

And now Leo has an explanation of what happened and why it happened. To being with, The Revenant actor was spooked that the moment actually found its way to social media. “Oh lord -- that’s trending, huh?” DiCaprio said when website ET Online informed him how the moment had gone viral.

DiCaprio had a completely logical explanation for why he made the face he did when Lady Gaga brushed by him. “I just didn’t know what was passing me -- that’s all!” Leo admitted.

The moment captured by cameras left everyone guessing about his peculiar expression and whether the nudge by Gaga was intentional. Leo’s eye-roll was played and re-played by users across the globe.

The 29-year-old pop star won the award for her debut show American Horror Story, while DiCaprio registered his third Golden Globe win for The Revenant.
