First reactions to Mission: Impossible - Fallout are in, and Tom Cruise fans are going to be very excited.
In a sign of great confidence, the embargo has been lifted off the first reactions to Mission: Impossible - Fallout, the sixth film in the action franchise, more than two weeks ahead of its release. The film held its premiere in Paris recently, and now first word has arrived online, and its ecstatic.

Critics and fans are calling it the summer’s best action film, with one enthusiastic person even going so far as to call it the best action movie of the last decade. They praised the film’s practical action scenes and director Christopher McQuarrie’s script. And as always, praise was also heaped on star Tom Cruise.

Fallout is a direct sequel to 2016’s Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation, which was also directed by McQuarrie and went on to gross almost $700 million worldwide.
The film stars Cruise as IMF agent Ethan Hunt, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Alec Baldwin, Henry Cavill, Sean Harris and Michelle Monaghan. Mission: Impossible - Fallout is scheduled for a July 27 release.
