Confident much? Deadpool’s getting a sequel even before it’s released

Ryan Reynolds’ violent superhero comedy film Deadpool is yet to hit theatres, but a sequel is already in works with the producers giving a green light to the project.

Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, who wrote Deadpool and the zombie comedy Zombieland, are now penning the script for a follow-up, reports hollywoodreporter.com.

However, Tim Miller, the director of Deadpool, has not signed on to helm the sequel yet. However, Fox is looking to keep the original creative team intact.

Deadpool is an R-rated action comedy based on an irreverent Marvel Comics character who is part of the X-Men universe. It arrives in Indian theatres this weekend.
