Haryana IG Anil Kumar Rao gets President’s police medal for distinguished service
Besides him, 11 other officers and officials of Haryana Police were awarded police medal for meritorious service.
Haryana Police inspector general (IG) Anil Kumar Rao, who heads the CID wing, has been awarded the President’s police medal for distinguished service, a government spokesperson said on Tuesday.

Vikas Dhankhar, assistant inspector general (AIG-provisioning), was awarded the police medal for meritorious service.
Besides them, 11 other officers of the Haryana Police were awarded police medal for meritorious service, the spokesperson said.
Mukesh Malhotra, DSP, Panchkula; Jaibir Singh, DSP, Faridabad; Ravinder Kumar, DSP Fatehabad; Ram Kumar, DSP Kaithal; Krishan Kumar, DSP, 2nd Battalion HAP Madhuban; Naresh Yadav, inspector, incharge crime branch, Gurugram; Jaldhir Singh, sub-inspector, CID Gurugram; Ramesh Kumar, sub-inspector, Hisar; Nain Pal, SI, Gurugram; Rakesh Kumar, EASI, Panchkula and Meena Sharma, L/EASI, Panchkula were among those awarded the police medal for meritorious service on the occasion of Independence Day.
