At this year’s India Couture Week presented by Hindustan Times and Sunil Sethi Design Alliance, designer Reynu Taandon is bringing forward a fresh collection for young brides.

Couturier Reynu Taandon, who champions the art of bridal couture with her exquisite modern yet conventional attires is bringing forward a fresh collection at FDCI India Couture Week presented by Hindustan Times and Sunil Sethi Design Alliance designed for the young brides.

The collection titled, ‘Once Upon A Dream’, that took over meticulous 3.5 months to achieve, is an amalgamation of pastel tones and tender flora.

Reynu Taandon, took over three months to bring together her new collection titled, Once Upon A Dream. “The collection is all about the blending of pastel tones and tender flora elements, and have been designed considering modern brides who don’t want to do the same thing the whole world is doing. This time I have used chanderi in a different in a younger way because young girls like to wear less weight, there’s also net and lace. My lehengas are not for one time use, you can wear them 20 years later—they’re forever,” adds Taandon.

Commenting on this year’s ICW which is presented by Hindustan Times and Sunil Sethi Design Alliance, she says, “Such two strong brands have joined hands together, it’s going to be a big thing this time!”

Talking about the bridal trends that will be huge in 2018, Taandon mentions, “I am getting a lot of request from brides who want to go for traditional outfits but with a classy, contemporary and sexy twist – for example, deep back blouses or cold shoulder style.” She also tells us that pastel pinks, powder blues, ivories, light gold, peaches, beiges are going to be big this season.
