Volcano erupts again on Iceland peninsula, 4th time in three months; state of emergency declared

Icelandic police declared a state of emergency as lava spewed from a new volcanic fissure on the Reykjanes peninsula, the fourth eruption since December. The eruption threatened a fishing village and the Blue Lagoon spa. The eruptions have raised fears for the Svartsengi power plant.
