Greta Thunberg's Fridays for Future strikes brought change in one-third of Swiss citizens

Around one-third of the people of Switzerland have changed their day-to-day habits as a result of climate activist Greta Thunberg's Fridays for Future climate strikes, a study by the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL) has revealed. The study surveyed residents in October and November 2019 and found that around 30% of respondents had made changes to their transportation, buying, and recycling habits in response to the protests. The study's lead author, Livia Fritz, said that the findings showed that significant shifts were occurring at an individual level.
