Delhi HC asks senior forest officer for details on sanctions for tree felling, afforestation

Delhi High Court has directed the Forest department secretary to provide information on permissions granted for tree felling by DMRC, NHAI, and PWD in the past two years. Details on encroachments removed from forest areas and afforestation efforts are also requested. The court set a deadline of four weeks for the information to be furnished, with a further hearing scheduled for July 22.
