A record-holding Sherpa guide concerned about garbage on higher camps on Mount Everest

Sherpa guide Kami Rita, who has climbed Mount Everest a record 30 times, expressed concern about the growing piles of garbage on the peak during an event marking Everest Day in Kathmandu. He called for government funding to clean up camps near the summit and better conditions for Sherpa guides. Kami Rita also broke his own record for successful climbs this month.
