Shardul Pandit wants Bigg Boss OTT contestants to go to 'Bournvita quiz contest' for age-shaming Shamita Shetty

Former Bigg Boss 14 contestant Shardul Pandit has slammed Bigg Boss OTT contestants for age-shaming Shamita Shetty who is also a participant on the ongoing reality show. Responding to a video clip in which Akshara Singh refered to Shamita as “mummy”, Shardul said those who use such language should go to a 'Bournvita quiz contest' if they are too young.

Angry at Shamita Shetty being targeted, Shardul Pandit wrote on Twitter, “What’s with age shaming @ShamitaShetty. Saw a clip where contestants are making fun of her and saying 'mummy ki umr ki hai (she is of mom's age)' to? Someone said 'mummy aisa karti kya (Would mom do this)'? Arey itne jawan ho to bournvita quiz contest mai jao na sab (If you all are so young, go to Bournvita quiz contest).”

A video clip had shown Muskaan aka Moose Jattana and Nishant Bhat laughing as they said “Ma ki umar ki hai (she is my mother's age)…..jab yeh boli na ma ki umar ki hai, buddhai ja rahi hai (when she said 'she's my mother's age, getting old').”

Kashmera Shah, who had slammed the age-shaming on Wednesday as well, also shared a video from the show and tweeted Thursday afternoon, “How can anyone allow this. Why are these people just standing and letting #AksharaSingh talk like this. My blood is boiling. All my sympathy to @ShamitaShetty #stopagebashing.”

On Wednesday, Kashmera had shared a short clip from Akshara’s conversation and tweeted, “Darling #akshara agar @ShamitaShetty ma Ke umar ki hain toh main yeh janna chahti hoon kya tum Ghar pe apne ma se bhi aisi batameezi se baat karti ho?Ab kahan gayi aapko sabhyata (If Shamita is mom's age, is this how you talk to your mom at home? What happened to your culture and manners?)? Not cool #ageist @ColorsTV @BiggBoss @biggbossott_ @TheShilpaShetty @karanjohar.”

She added, "Shame on you all for age shaming our girls. How dare you? I have got an instant dislike for these four now and I stand by @ShamitaShetty and anyone that goes through this age slamming. You are lucky I am not inside to break your face housemates."
