Kishwer Merchantt & Suyyash Rai share video after son Nirvair's mundan ceremony, call him ‘Ganju Rai’. Watch

Kishwer Merchantt and Suyyash Rai recently trolled their son Nirvair Rai as Ganju Rai after they had his hair shaved for his mundan ceremony (the ritual in which a child receives their first haircut). The proud parents shared a series of pictures from the ceremony, apart from a video that featured before and after snaps of Nirvair getting his hair shaved. In a joint post on Instagram, Kishwer and Suyyash introduced their baby boy as 'Ganju Rai.' They captioned the video, "Presenting our Ganju Rai @nirvair.rai #SuyyashRai #kishwermerchant #saadireelsaadifeel #Sukishkababy #trendingreels #ticktickboom #babyboy #babyreels #mundan."

The video started with Kishwer and Suyyash posing with their son in front of a wall decorated with balloons. Kishwer was in a pink dress while Suyyash was in blue ethnic wear, and Nirvair had a head full of hair. Then they jumped into a transition after which Kishwer and Suyyash were twinning in a white t-shirt that read ‘Ganju Bunny ka Mumma’ (bald bunny's mother) and ‘Ganju Bunny ka Baba’ (bald bunny's father) respectively.

The video received a lot of love from their fans as well their actor friends. Tannaz Irani wrote, “Awwww... My Bunny became clean bowled! Cutie pie he looks. He's also happy”, while Jankee Parekh commented, “Looks adorable”, Surbhi Jyoti wrote, “Hahhahhahaha so cuteeee.”

They shared some other pictures from the ceremony too, which showed a balloon decoration that read "roking the ganju look." Kishwer corrected the spelling mistake as she shared the picture and wrote "rocking." Another photograph showed Nirvair's four grandparents posing in their personalised tees for his mundan. She also shared pictures of Nirvair playing in his walker after the ceremony.

Kishwer and Suyyash Rai welcomed Nirvair, their first child, on August 27, 2021. They often share pictures of their son on their Instagram handles, and have even created a separate account for him that has 38,300 followers.
