Is Meghan Markle returning to acting? Ex-Suits star has signed up WME

Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, is making headlines once again with her latest professional move. The former Suits actress has signed a deal with talent agency WME, as announced via the agency's Twitter account. Meghan's team at WME will reportedly also take over representation for her and Prince Harry's company, Archewell Productions.

While Meghan's partnership with WME will cover film and television production, fans shouldn't expect to see her return to acting anytime soon. According to Variety, acting will not be a focus of the deal. Meghan herself hinted in a Variety cover story published in October 2022 that she's "done" with acting for now, although she didn't rule out the possibility completely.

Meghan and Harry moved to California in 2020 after stepping down from their roles as senior working royals. They have been working on various projects with Netflix through their production company, including the docuseries Harry & Meghan. The couple are raising their two children, Archie and Lilibet, in the US and have been candid about their experiences before and after leaving the royal family.

Harry has also been pursuing his own creative projects, with a focus on making documentaries connected to good causes. While he has expressed a desire to make it in Hollywood, sources have said that he wants to do it on his own terms and not rely on his royal connections.

With Meghan's new deal with WME, it seems that the Sussexes are continuing to make their mark in the entertainment industry, but perhaps in ways that they hadn't originally anticipated. Only time will tell what projects they have in store for the future.
