Aastha Gill on bro-zoning Badshah and Raftaar: ‘Main aaj tak regret karti hoon’

Singer Aastha Gill has expressed regret about bro-zoning rappers Badshah and Raftaar. She collaborated with both on the song Dhup Chik from Fugly. She has also delivered a number of hits with Badshah, from DJ Waley Babu to Buzz.

In an interview, Aastha Gill said that she was very young when she made Badshah and Raftaar her brothers. She joked that she has learnt her lesson now and has not bro-zoned any of her Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 co-contestants. She is currently shooting for the adventure reality show in Cape Town.

Radio host Siddharth Kannan asked Aastha about bro-zoning Badshah and Raftaar. “Uss time main chhoti thi, mujhe realise nahi hua. Main aaj tak regret karti hoon. Toh maine Khatron Ke Khiladi mein aake ek bhi bhai nahi banaya. Bohot ho gaya (I was very young then, I didn’t realise what I was doing. I regret it till date, so I made sure that I didn’t bro-zone anyone in Khatron Ke Khiladi. Enough is enough),” she laughed.

On being asked if she has developed any romance or flirted with her Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 co-contestants, Aastha said, “Honestly, I am so bad at this romance-vomance. Kyunki humesha aise bhai wale zone mein reh gayi yaar. Mereko romance karna aata hi nahi hai, flirt karna aata hi nahi hai (I always got stuck in this brother zone. I don’t know how to flirt or romance). But I have made so many memories. Sabke saath dance-vance khoob kiya maine. Chalo, dance hi kare. Baaki toh mere bas ka kuch bhi nahi hai (I danced a lot with everyone. I thought, ‘Let me at least dance since I am clearly not good at flirting’).” She added that she ‘can’t make the first move’.

Aastha is one of the contestants of Khatron Ke Khiladi 11, along with Abhinav Shukla, Divyanka Tripathi, Rahul Vaidya, Nikki Tamboli, Shweta Tiwari, Vishal Aditya Singh, Sana Makbul, Varun Sood, Mahekk Chahal, Arjun Bijlani, Anushka Sen and Sourabh Raaj Jain.
