Did Aishwarya Rai's bouncer slap BEST bus driver after collision with actor's car? Here's what we know

On Wednesday, news broke that a BEST bus collided with a luxury car belonging to actor Aishwarya Rai, but no serious damage was caused. FPJ reported, quoting anonymous sources, that this led to a scuffle between Aishwarya’s bouncer and the driver, with the former allegedly slapping the latter. Aishwarya Rai’s bouncer slaps bus driver?

The report claims a minor collision between a BEST bus and a luxury car near Amitabh Bachchan’s Juhu Tara Road bungalow. Sources told the publication that the BEST bus (number 8021, route 231) had just departed from the Juhu bus depot when it slightly grazed a luxury car (MH02-GG-5050).

When the driver stopped to assess the damage, a bouncer allegedly came out and slapped him. The driver reportedly dialled 100 to report the incident to the police. After their arrival, the bungalow supervisor apologised for the bouncer’s behaviour, and the driver decided not to file a police report.

While neither the Bachchan family nor their representatives made an official statement, fans were worried for Aishwarya’s safety when news broke of the bus hitting her vehicle. Sources stated that there was no accident as such. A police officer from Juhu said the bus driver was honking, so her driver got out of the vehicle and asked him why he was honking.

After the 2018 film Fanney Khan, Aishwarya only starred in Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan films in 2022 and 2023. She received praise for her performance as the beautiful and ambitious Nandini in the film. In the film’s second part, it was revealed that she also played the role of Oomai Rani.

Aishwarya married Abhishek Bachchan in 2007 and has considerably scaled back on her work ever since. In 2011, the duo welcomed their daughter Aaradhya, who is often spotted with her parents at events.
