Anushka Ranjan reacts to being called ‘bhabhiji’ at Tadap screening, Aditya Seal can’t stop smiling. Watch
Anushka Ranjan and Aditya Seal attended the premiere of Tadap together. The paparazzi greeted her by addressing her as ‘bhabhiji’.
Anushka Ranjan and Aditya Seal, who recently got married, attended the premiere of Tadap in Mumbai on Wednesday. As they arrived for the photo-op, the paparazzi addressed Anushka as ‘bhabhiji’ referring to her newly-married status.
The shutterbugs told Aditya “…bhabhiji ke saath (pose with bhabhiji)” when he jokingly pretended to not hear what was being said. Then Anushka, while taking her face mask off, said “Bhabhiji mat boliyega (Please don’t call me bhabhiji).” As the paparazzi kept calling her that, Anushka and Aditya couldn’t stop smiling. He even nodded his head in disbelief.
At the premiere, Anushka was dressed in an olive long top paired with black stockings and boots. She accessorised it with hoop earrings and a cross-body bag. Aditya wore a casual outfit.
Tadap marks the Bollywood debut of Ahan Shetty. At the screening, he brought along his girlfriend Tania Shroff. Ahan’s sister Athiya Shetty also arrived with her rumoured boyfriend, cricketer KL Rahul. Ahan and Athiya’s parents Suniel and Mana Shetty also checked in to the premiere. In Tadap, Ahan co-stars with Tara Sutaria, who wore a black outfit to the event. The film releases on Friday.
Anushka and Aditya got married last month in a star-studded wedding. The festivities were attended by celebs such as Alia Bhatt, Vaani Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, Krystle D'Souza, among others. Alia is best friends with Anushka’s sister Akansha Ranjan Kapoor.
After their wedding, Anushka dedicated a note to Aditya and wrote: “Since the day I’ve known you I haven’t had one dull moment.. we have lived a few lifetimes in these 4 years and I cannot believe we’re headed towards forever together. Adi you’re my smile and you make me so happy .. thank you for choosing me everyday and making my fears vanish and making me feel like the luckiest person to walk the earth. Now let’s go live our happily ever after .. I guess I did finally get SEALed.”
