Chamundeshwari is the assembly constituency which comes under the Mysore district. It is one of the 224 Karnataka Legislative Assembly Constituencies. Karnataka Assembly Election 2023 for Chamundeshwari will be held on May 10 and the result was declared on May 13.

Janata Dal (Secular)'s G.T.Devegowda won the election by upstaging Indian National Congress's Siddaramaiah by a margin of 36,042 votes.
The top two candidates split 91.9% of votes between them. Janata Dal (Secular)'s G.T.Devegowda got a total of 1,21,325 votes, while Indian National Congress's Siddaramaiah secured 85,283 votes. Bharatiya Janata Party's candidate S.R.Gopalrao secured 12,064 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties got 54.0%, 38.0% and 5.4% respectively.
In Karnataka Assembly election 2013, Janata Dal (Secular)'s G.T. Deve Gowda defeated Indian National Congress's M. Sathyanarayana by 7,103 votes.
