The firebrand former BJP leader and Member of Parliament re-joined the Aam Aadmi Party in September, after having quit in 2016 to form his own party - the Himachal Party Himachal Regional Alliance. Sushant is a former Lok Sabha MP - he was elected from Kangra on a BJP ticket in 2009 - and is contesting this election from Fatehpur -a Congress stronghold.
