Arvind Kejriwal's handwritten note has 3 claims amid Gujarat poll heat. Watch
Gujarat polls: Arvind Kejriwal and other AAP leaders have been running an intense campaign in Gujarat for months.
Gujarat is gripped by poll heat as the state gears up to vote later this week in the first phase on December 1 and the second phase on December 5. With the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is eyeing for a major breakthrough in the home state of Prime Minister Narendra Modi after winning Punjab earlier this year, Arvind Kejriwal on Monday made three claims in a handwritten note during a press briefing.

In his note on the state poll results, Kejriwal wrote: “Gopal Italia (AAP’s state unit chief) is winning with a huge margin in the state. Our CM candidate Isudhan Gadhvi is winning with a big margin. Alpesh Kathiriya (a prominent Patidar face) is winning the Varacha constituency.”
He wrote all this down on a piece of paper when prompted by reporters. “Likh ke de deten hain. (Sure, will write it down).” A clip from the briefing was shared by the party on Twitter. The Delhi Chief Minster was seen smiling as he read out the note to reporters.
The note was also shared on Twitter by Gopal Italia. “Arvind Kejriwal, who has rewritten the history of political issues in India, has written this too,” the AAP leader wrote as he shared the handwritten note on Twitter.
During the briefing, Kejriwal assured the voters that his party - if elected to power in Gujarat - will help in curbing inflation and the hike in prices of essentials.
"Women have to face the brunt of inflation the most because they have to run households. The Aam Aadmi Party has promised that bills will be brought down to zero and this has been very well accepted among women," Kejriwal said during a briefing on Monday. "Women are happy that their monthly expenses will come down by ₹2,000. We have also promised that we won't let private schools hike their fee. It's been seven years that we have not let the private schools raise their fee in Delhi. In Gujarat too, we won't let private schools raise," he further added.
Votes for Gujarat assembly polls will be counted along with those for Himachal Pradesh polls.
