94.1% of the total votes were casted to top two candidates. Bharatiya Janata Party's Maheshwari Malti Kishor got a total of 79,713 votes, while Indian National Congress's Kishor Gangjibhai Pingol got 59,443 votes. Bahujan Mukti Party's candidate Bhanjibhai Myajarbhai Dungariya grabbed 1,965 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties secured 53.9%, 40.2% and 1.3% respectively.
