Sidli is one of the 126 Assam Legislative Assembly Constituencies that comes under the Kokrajhar district. People of Sidli voted for Assam Assembly Election 2021 on April 6 and the result was declared on May 2.

All India United Democratic Front's candidate Dilip Kumar Sarania grabbed the third spot with 21,601 votes. The top three parties got 42.8%, 37.0% and 14.0% respectively.
In Assam Assembly election 2011, Bodaland Peoples Front's Sri Chandan Brahma beat independent candidate Maoti Brahma Hazowary by 36,881 votes.
