Haryana board 12th Result: Tailor’s daughter Palak Sardana tops in commerce stream
Palak Sardana, 17, a student of Prayag Giri Sanatandharam Senior Secondary trust school topped the Haryana Board Class 12 exams in commerce stream scoring 494 marks out of 500.
Palak Sardana, 17, a student of Prayag Giri Sanatandharam Senior Secondary trust school topped the Haryana Board Class 12 exams in commerce stream scoring 494 marks out of 500. The Board of School Education (BSEH), Bhiwani declared the class 12 results on Wednesday.
Talking to HT, Palak Sardana said, “I gave my eight to 10 hours to studies and was very hopeful of getting good position. I never joined tuition for any subject,” she said.
Palak wants to become a Chartered Accountant (CA). Her father Ashwani Sardana is a tailor by profession and mother Monika Sardana is a housewife. Her father said this is a proud moment for her family members and even Palak’s younger sister Sia, studying in class 10 in the same school, is a good student.
“My father always supported me and even my accounts subject teacher Sandeep Kumar always cleared my doubts. I got 99 marks in English, 98 in accounts, 97 in Computer Science, 100 in business studies, and 100 in Mathematics,”she said.
